FAQs

  • Everything is taking place at St Giles House. Once you arrive on-site for the wedding ceremony, there is no need to leave until the end of the evening.

  • Please try these local suggested companies for booking taxis.

Due to the remote location and only WiFi (no signal) at the house, please book a taxi in advance.

We have a shuttle booked for the end of Saturday night for those we have contacted and booked hotels for only. If you don’t know if this is you, let Natalie know :)

  • Suggested accommodation is available here. There are plenty of rooms to book nearby and many still under 40 minutes away in Poole, Bournemouth and Salisbury.

If we've been in touch with you about your accommodation, Natalie will be in contact soon to sort payment.

  • Free parking is available onsite at St Giles House, in the Walled Car Park.

Please use the postcode BH21 5ND when navigating to St Giles, this will take you to the Park Lane entrance. Once through the gate, please take the first turn immediately on your right into the Walled Car Park, where you are welcome to park.

Once parked, for Friday or Sunday, follow the path to the left to the Forestry Bar. On Saturday, follow the footpath at the far corner of the car park and head towards the main house.

Please do not park at the main house or the Riding House.

  • The wedding will be black tie.

For men, please wear dinner jackets and bow ties. For women, cocktail, mid-length or floor-length dresses are all good! For women, please don't wear black, it’s a happy day! The wedding will be inside, but we may have some brief time outside in the afternoon, depending on the weather in March 2025!

  • The most important thing for us is to party with our best people. If you’d like to contribute, we would appreciate a contribution towards our Honeymoon Fund. WhatsApp us for our bank details.

We’ll have a box at the wedding for any cards on the day.

  • We have booked the DJ to play until 02:00 and look forward to partying with you!

  • The ceremony will begin at 14:00. Please arrive onsite at 13:15.

If you’re staying onsite, please head to the main house at 13:00.

  • On Friday, the bar will accept cash or cards.

On Saturday, all drinks will be provided until the band starts in the evening. The bar onsite accepts cards, so there is no need to bring cash.

  • Please don’t bring your own confetti. We will provide plenty of confetti, as it has to be natural.

  • Sorry, as much as we love them, we’d like to make the most of a party with you. Only our two flower girls and ring bearer will join us for the day.

  • Something smart/casual! Who knows what the weather will be by March, but the Friday will be chilled drinks and street food. If it’s cold, wrap up warm as it’ll be mostly outdoor.

  • Boots, jackets and something to be comfy and warm in as we’ll be outside.

  • There are plenty of grounds to explore. The house is full of history and character, with the current Earl of Shaftesbury living on-site with his family. Please be respectful when leaving late at night. There are also horses on-site, please stay away from the stables.

  • Let us know on WhatsApp

  • Yes, there is a coat rack to hang your jackets (or flat shoes!).
